Vietnamese realty developer Vingroup has just organized a soft opening ceremony for a huge riverside green space in Ho Chi Minh City.
The park, which is a part of the enviro-friendly luxurious urban community Vinhomes Central Park, located in Binh Thanh District, was soft-opened on Saturday, attracting thousands of people.
With its river frontage stretching more than a kilometer, the park offers a green area in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, which will act as the lungs of the entire city.
Inspired by the New York City-based Central Park, the park was developed by real estate conglomerate Vingroup at a cost of VND500 billion (US$22.4 million).
The park covers 14 hectares, making it the largest riverside green venue in the city.
Embraced by the Saigon River, the green venue features over 40 sections such as a water stage, a children’s playground, stadiums, golf courses, barbecue areas, food courts, and other public services.
Other highlights of the park are the green spaces inspired by various settings, namely a Japanese-style garden and another by the Saigon River.
To show its gratitude to its future residents, Vingroup organized an event called “Your 1st Day in Paradise” from Saturday to Sunday, with performances given by many famous Vietnamese celebrities.
The conglomerate has a multitude of projects nationwide, including multifunctional complexes in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, and other major cities.
