The National Golf Championship for Seniors will kick off at Thua Thien – Hue Province’s Laguna Lang Co Golf Course on April 30.
Winners receive awards at last year’s tournament. This year the championship for senior golfers will be held in Hue.
Nearly 120 golfers have registered for the tournament. They have been divided into two categories; one for 50-59 year olds and one for those 60 years old and above.
The golfers will compete in a two-round 18-hole format tournament.
The event is one of the annual activities of the Vietnam Golf Association.
The winners will walk away with VND15 million (US$670).
Last year, Andrew Hung Pham took the top prize in the 50-59 years old class and Bui Huy Hoang triumphed in the over 60 category.
