HCM CITY (VNS) — The Dalat 1200 Ladies Golf Championship will be held on March 22-27 in the Highland city of Da Lat.
It will be the first time an international professional tournament for female has been held in Viet Nam. As many as 120 athletes have registered, from South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong and others.
The host, Viet Nam, will not have a professional competitor but will have up to six wild cards delivered to local golfers, according to Nguyen Viet Quy of the organising board.
The winner of the event will walk away with US$84,000, with total prize money at the event totaling $420,000.
The Dalat 1200 golf course is 1,200m above sea level in the Da Ron Valley with ideal weather and temperatures from 18-250C. — VNS
