HÀ NỘI – The Junior Golf Open Championship is scheduled to kick off at Tam Đảo Golf Course in the northern province of Vĩnh Phúc on December 26-27.
The two-day event will attract the participation of 60 golfers including some overseas Vietnamese players. 2014-15 national champion Nguyễn Thảo My, who is training in the US, will also take part in the tournament.
Six group winners will be given free training courses funded by the US golf institute in Thailand.
The tournament aims to encourage junior to play golf as well as provide a chance for young aces to enhance their skills. – VNS
