Five golfers to represent Vietnam in South Africa

VietNamNet Bridge – The TP Bank World Amateur Golfers Championship Viet Nam 2016 wrapped up on Saturday in Sky Lake golf course in Ha Noi.

The winners, Tran The Cuong, Huynh Ngoc Thanh Binh, Do Dinh Toan, Nguyen Truong Giang and Ho Tran Tuan, selected from five handicap groups, will represent Viet Nam at the World Amateur Golfers Championship (WAGC), an international competition for amateur golfers from more than 40 countries.

Nguyen Thi Bao Quynh, WAGC representative in Viet Nam, said that the golfers played very well, promising to provide impressive competition in the world event.

Last year, the WAGC featured players from 49 countries. Viet Nam finished third. The WAGC 2016 will take place in Durban, South Africa from October 22-29.
