The Vietnam – Germany Friendship Golf Tournament 2018 was organized by the Vietnamese Embassy at Gross Kienitz Golf Club in suburban Berlin, Germany.

The second tournament attracted nearly 70 golfers who are German politicians and friends, members of the embassy and overseas Vietnamese from golf clubs across Germany.
After five hours competing on an 18-hole golf course, golfer Truong Van Chinh won the best golfer of the tournament.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung highly appreciated the quality of the tournament, saying that it was not only a simple sport activity, but also an opportunity to exchange and strengthen friendship and solidarity among politicians and diplomats, as well as German and Vietnamese businessmen in Germany.
Mr. Jurgen Klemann, former Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs of Berlin, said that the tournament helped boost mutual understanding between the two peoples.
At the closing ceremony, golfers and guests enjoyed an art program imbued with cultural identity and traditional dishes of Vietnam./.
