Avani Hotels and Resorts has announced the signing of the first Avani+ resort in Vietnam.
Avani+ Ho Tram Resort is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2023. The property is located in the beach town of Ho Tram in Ba Ria, Vung Tau Province, less than a two-hours’ drive from Ho Chi Minh City.
The company says the 200-room property “occupies a scenic beachfront site” near the Ho Tram Strip 2.5 km away, which is home to a convention centre, a casino, a shopping precinct, restaurants, bars, an 18-hole golf course, and a new water park which is currently under development.
The property’s 200 standard rooms and five 90- sqm bungalows will operate as a resort, while several one, two and three-bedroom residences will be available for purchase by individual homeowners and investors, says the company.
Leisure facilities include two pools, a fitness centre, a kids club and a third-party destination beach club.
The resort’s signature restaurant will serve Thai and Vietnamese seafood, while the all-day dining venue and Pantry by Avani will offer “international cuisine” and refreshments.
The resort will also have banquet and meeting facilities that can accommodate up to 500 guests in its 684-sqm ballroom. There are also two additional meeting rooms for meetings and smaller events, says the company.
Due for completion in 2025, Long Thanh International Airport is located approximately 40 kilometres east of the centre of Ho Chi Minh City and is a 1.5-hour drive from the resort.
Launched in 2011, Avani Hotels is part of the global hospitality group Minor Hotels. It currently operates about 30 hotels and resorts in 18 countries. The brand recently debuted in Cambodia and South Korea.
