Launched in 2014, the World Golf Awards says it serves to acknowledge, celebrate and reward excellence in golf courses and golf destinations around the world.
It aims to drive up standards within the golf tourism industry by rewarding clubs and organisations that are leaders in their field. World Golf Awards is part of World Travel Awards.
The annual World Golf Awards celebration will take place on October 29 in Dubai.
