Hoang Quan won the Danko Golf Championship at the FLC Sam Son Golf Links in Thanh Hoa Province on Sunday.

Quan was first with a result of 1-over 73 at the two-day event, which was organised for the first time yet attracted nearly 650 participants.
Quan was one of Việt Nam’s representatives at the World Mercedes Trophy final last year.
The tournament offered three different categories for male golfers based on their handicap and one for women.
A total bonus of VNĐ20 billion (US$897,000) was up for grabs.

The UniCap Golf Tournament 2017 will be held on October 28-29 at FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links in Binh Dinh Province.
Participants will vie for a total prize pool of VNĐ15 billion (US$673,000), which includes cash, luxury cars and holiday packages along with other rewards.
There will be four groups — three for men and one for women.
They will also compete for the titles of Bess Gross, Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Nearest to the Line, as well as Eagle & Albatross and Hole-in-One.
The 18-hole FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links is one of three best new courses in Asia-Pacific, voted by the Asian Golf Awards in 2016.
